Welcome to Carver Predator Calls

 

At Carver Predator Calls I build every call by hand, one at a time. My goal is to make the best sounding easiest to use custom calls available. I am constantly Working on new sounds. 

I am a very small shop. I started making calls in the mid 70’s  , I made my first coyote call in the mid 1970s. It was a horn howler made from an old semi truck horn with a hand built reed.

I do not mass produce the coyote calls. They are hand made, one at a time, with a lot of care going into each call. I hand polish each call with a process that has taken me years to get where it is.

 I hand tune every call before they leave my shop to ensure that  when you receive your call, is tuned and ready to go.

 

 

About Me

 

 My name is Kerry Carver maker of carver calls.

 

I have a beautiful wife Kim and two children Candice and Casey. They have given us 5 beautiful Grandchildren..

 

Without my wifes support and understanding none of this would be possible.

 

When I was a freshman in high school in 1974 My friends dad was a government trapper who introduced me to coyote hunting since then Ive been hooked. He had a howler he had made out of an old truck horn and an old closed reed call. 

Of coarse I had to have one you couldn't just buy a howler back then so I made one in 1977. Then I made a  closed reed call and the rest is history. Howling is nothing new folks have been doing it for a long  time.  Calling coyotes is a passion for me there is nothing like calling a coyote within feet of you. Me and my son Casey have had some of our most memorable times out hunting coyotes I have literally called them where they have jumped over the top of him.

 

Im 67 Years old so im slowing down. I also have a full time job. Im planning on retiring hopefully within the next few years.
